didnt draw that much, didnt read that much. tgh agak busy buat preparation.

semalam azran penat sangat, call2 tak bangun. so aku pergi opis dulu naik cab (biasa azran pick aku kat umah and drop kat bts), breakfast aku tinggalkan kat atas kabinet kasut luar umah. lupa ada momo mamau meme mimi mumu dan segala apa2 la kucing kat rumah tu. by the time azran sampai umah untuk amik breakfast, sandwich dah kne makan. kucen2 tu siap bukak tupperware lagi nak makan sandwich chicken ham + cheese.

"serius rasa nak tendang sekor2." kata azran yg menyayangi binatang. sori sayang, patut letak dalam beg..

keje tgh hectic, colleague aku yg lead projek kena pegi vienna nex week untuk present paper, so aku terkontang kanting nak setel mende2 yg belum setel. paper aku x start tulis lagi. patent pun walaupun dah lepas internal, co-inventor x agree lagi. barang2 kne source sendiri, vendor letak harga 6x ganda sampai aku rase nak bukak kampeni sourcing. kat steelcase dulu buat memang mechanical design semata2, sourcing ade org lain buat, skang sume benda carik sendiri, google becomes my best fren (tapi hari2 masuk lambat. pukul 9.30 aku tertunduk2 dari satu kubikel ke kubikel yg lain, menyorok dr bos untuk pegi ke meja. dulu aku selalu kutuk fai sbb dtg lambat, skang aku senyap je la).

petang2 dah jarang hujan. so berjaya la aku spend some time beriadah dengan cara berjalan kaki dr opis ke lrt bukit jalil. tak jauh, sejam je. sebab bila ade kedai aku singgah beli eskrem. bila ada bangku aku duduk menikmati keindahan alam (padahal pancit). pastu bila azran amik kat bts, pengsan dalam kete.

haritu aku ada tulis pasal berat aku dah naik, seluar tak muat, etc etc. tapi pastu aku jaga makan and banyak minum air and banyak berjalan so skang seluar da boleh pakai. skang aku tgh nak makan banyak balik, sbb seluar dah terlondeh dan pipi aku dah start cekung gile. women never satisfy eh?

bila plan2 ngan azran weekend ni nak buat apa weekend tu nak pegi mana, baru perasan kitrg tinggal 2 weekend. satu untuk balik kuantan test baju, satu lagi untuk setel last minit punya benda (such as food testing, beli katil, singgah keje kawen sedara, etc2)

the third weekend from now will be the wedding.

wip colored coaster

an illustration i did few months ago. decided to put a batik background to it.

turns out it's ok to color the coaster, the surface doesn't smear.

sleeping at 2.30 every night, finishing the illustrated drink coasters for doorgifts. 24 days left, wondering if i can do much of it.

good news, got the dress i wanted. it has an old classic style.

azran tried both white and black suits. although the white matches more with the dress, he has always looked much much handsomer in black :p

while aku nampak gile pendek dalam dress tu standing next to him. kne carik heels 6 inci.

easiest stuff to do, making some for my wedding :)

children activity book

made some printable for the kids and bought some crayons at big bad wolf (they're cheap, only RM1 per set) i bought some children books as well for the kids corner.

classic door gift packaging

cheap, they're using paper bag and doily paper. but for 1000 sets of door gifts, i'm afraid they'll be messy on the wedding day due to cramping them in boxes, hence i didn't do these. settled with jars instead.

cloth pins for decoration

i made some fridge magnet cloth pins as door gift too :)

nephews

my brother will be home for my wedding later in june, cant wait to see mikael's new hair.

these are old "design". when he came home last april with his mom, he played too much in unclean environment i guess (jakun tgk mende2 yg tade kat doha), that he caught lice (kesian asek tergaru2 kepala), so his parents just cut the hair.

ok la, looked more civilized and less girly :p

the funny part abang aku citer, after dah botak and he looked at himself in the mirror, ternganga mulut. 

last year when he left malaysia, he had just turrned 1. now he's 2. bila aku balik keje time dia ada kat umah aritu, aku n atie (his mom) bukak pintu, dia panggil, "ANNE!!" pastu tendang bola kat aku, terus ajak main. rindu giler..

masa baru lahir, time cukur jambul

<4 months later:-

my sister has arrived muar for election yesterday (she lives at KT). going hometown as well tomorrow, cant wait to hug yayan~

*since masuk mimos berat aku naik mendadak, kalau dulu x lebih 45kg, skang reaching 50kg. sampaikan seluar yg aku pakai, dulu kne pin sebab longgar:- sekarang at one point takleh nak zip pun.

maybe sbb heppi so banyak makan (aku jumpa azran lebih kurang time aku resign from steelcase & masuk mimos), and lagi satu sebab aku x berjalan. kat steelcase dulu nak pegi kilang kat puchong aku kne tukar bas 3 kali. kalau pegi opis kat midveli naik bas-erl-ktm or kalau sempat naik bas rapid kl je, tapi takut jem. and then kalo kat midveli aku suka merayau time lunch, so banyak la senaman.

skang... pagi ade org amik, balik ade org hantar sampai depan pintu umah.. time lunch tapau kat cafe naik atas makan baca buku.. mana tak makin besar..

so aku start pakai korset n membe aku suh minum air suam banyak2 (sampai kencing almost 10 times la kat opis tu), and kalau petang time balik tu x hujan and aku x dapat cab, aku jalan kaki dr mimos ke lrt bukit jalil. tak sampai sebulan seluar dah longgar balik :D walaupun x sampai tahap kne pin macam zaman dulu tapi oke la jugak..

so kawan2, mari minum air masak banyak2~*


dah start banyak ramblings, aku rasa aku dah start nervous untuk wedding selain keje kat opis tgh mencabar.

wedding preparations - make up artist

one of the things yang aku n azran agak particular about wedding is the bride's makeup. kalau boleh taknak mekap sampai 'nampak macam orang lain'.

aku dah agak biasa join makeover makeup kalau estee lauder etc organize, masa kat adelaide dulu pun ada join, so aku tau betapa bapuknya muka aku kalau aku mekap tebal berserta shadow2 etc tuh..

so mende yg first sekali aku buat after engage aritu was carik mekap artist. ada sorg yg aku sangat sangat sangaaaattt berkenan, dia pakai airbrush, makeup session 2 jam, harga rm650 untuk full package, tapi sbb aku pakai tudung so just nak mekap n tolak hairdo, dia caj rm450 je. tapi sayang miscommunication pasal date, ada org dah book, memang kecewa giler time tuh.

maka terpaksalah dengan kesedihan aku tanya membe aku jin ann mana nak carik mua yg oke lagi. dia bagi a few suggestions, after tolak tarik naik turun etc etc aku jumpa Carmen Meng and berjaya book beliau untuk reception makeup. caj murah sikit, rm350 without trial. aku suka style dia, simple n natural.

masa mencari2 aritu ada la membe2 suggest n advice. the best part, diorg cakap, "ko amik akak ni, lepas mekap memang tak nampak macam muka ko langsung!" in which aku rasa cam xde point. and diorg tak suka mua chinese, sbb diorg cakap mekap macam x mekap, membazir je bayar. ade gak point tuh, hahaha..

but then again in order to mekap nipis and natural, kulit kne la bagi licin abes baru la ok. soooo.... for the next one month i'm becoming a vegetarian, eat clean!!! beli sayur banyak2 buat juice. hari2 minum inner shine. minum air 4 liter sehari. makan jamu, madu, n habbatus saudah.

tengok la berjaya ke tak. lol

inside the handbag

a segment by tangan punya kerja, bought plain tote bags from her before, haven't done any sketches on them yet.

i rarely use handbags, for the past 4 years of working i have been using the laptop bags given by the company. recently my fiancee bought me a cute handmade handbag, hence i could join this segment :)

drink coasters, small sketchbook, copic pens, epoxy stickers, and glossy photo papers

currently i've been doing fridge magnets and personalized stickers for commissions and as door gifts for my wedding, i sketched when i have time (usually while waiting for mr fiancee) and hence i brought over the epoxy stickers as well.

too lazy to store the coasters, i put them on plastic :p been doing those using copic 0.03, the rough surface of the coaster make it fun to do cross hatching. i'll continue the sketches bit by bit when i'm in mood, which is why i brought all of them.

found out that sketching on the glossy photo paper is fun, too. just that it would need a kilometrico instead of  a copic. this too, i continue when in mood :p

been a bit of a bookaholic since i met my fiancee. there was time when we went to all of the used book stores and stalls in amcorp to find specific books, not to mention popular, mph, and borders as our main targets when going to shopping malls (aside from toys r us to find his transformers and artfren or art shops for me~). currently addicted to Tolkien, we're collecting all his books for now. since i take trains and buses as main transportation, when it's not comfortable to sketch, i'll read.

of course, they are the main things (my phone is not in, i used it to capture the photo). some other stuff i throw into the bag, would be hard for me to find when i need them.

used to bring my ipad before, as it's easier to do sketchwalking on sketchbook pro or paper 53, but leaving it for mom at home so it's easier for her to skype with the grandsons.

hence my share for the segment. wish u good days ahead :)

designed by my great friend since intec, housemate and roommate in adelaide, a good designer who takes biotech and ends up in IT :p always criticizes my taste in color match (which is true; they're terrible). 

thank you sooo much farachwan.

made them into postcard type, will tie them together using ribbons. should get all printed cards by saturday, will start distributing next week.

been tough days these few weeks. i'm sorry dear for all the troubles i caused, thank you for never leaving my side.

 gonna have our pre-wed photoshoot this weekend insyaAllah. been hoping to use his guitar and my easel and canvas as props. couldn't get the easel though..

as i'm supposed to sketch him during the photoshoot, now doing some TRAININGGGG~

the hedgehog.

called him dak-dak, a short form of landak. a little wild, trying hard to tame him.

decided not to color the coaster, i'm sure i'm gonna ruin it. anyway, this would be my first commission, glad that Matt likes it :)

it was supposed to be for Koyuki's birthday last november. attached together personalized sticker for her and some fridge magnets :)

by the way folks, i gave up. ended up printed the whole remaining magnets. i'm desperate :p
